This organization works on legislation for land and water use, they organize a couple farmer’s markets, have a list of ag events, and sell their own cookbook, among other things

HOFA is a non-profit organization that administers organic certification in Hawaii. Their mission is to protect the life of the land and the health of communities through education about organic land care practices. Developing and strengthening certified organic farms enhances Hawaii’s many fragile ecosystems and provides a base for a sustainable local economy.

The mission of Hawai‘i Foods is to improve the health of Hawai‘i’s people by providing food and nutrient information to assist them in making healthier dietary choices. The website was developed by several members of the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) at the University of Hawai‘i. It is an evolving resource, as nutrient data, recipes, publications, photos, and other information are continually being added to the databases.

The idea is to take all the roof space available in America on all our big box retail stores and turn this space into productive, agricultural land with a closed loop sustainable system created by the founders of this company.
